Large-size color filter manufacturing process new method oled module


With the constant increase of the lcd modules  the original traditional CF processes are obviously inadequate, new process methods have emerged. The major ones are DuPont thermal multilayer technology (Thermal multi-layer tech.), Toppan Printing (Toppan) for reverse printing method (Reverse printing method) and Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) ink-jet printing method (Ink Jet printing) .
Hot multilayer technology
Heat multilayer technology is DuPont's original invention, directed by laser heating Donor film layer, the Donor film layer off and transferred onto the pigment layer on the substrate, to thereby obtain the desired color resist. DuPont currently has a device capable of producing G 8.
This method does not need exposure, developing, simple process, equipment space can also be a great savings. But is not yet prepared BM, and the time required for scanning the laser more than the exposure time of the pigment dispersion method.
Reverse printing method
Preparation of CF reverse printing is 2003 Japanese light village Printing and issued jointly by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. In 2004, Toppan Printing has made use of reverse printing developed seven generations of CF related technologies. Their process is divided into three steps: the first step, the photoresist coated on the transfer drum; Second, the transfer roller in a special area on the template scrape excess photoresist; third step will be the first the second step of the patterned photoresist to the substrate by means of a transfer roller.
This method has the advantage of simultaneously R, G, B, BM resist four kinds of production, and does not require exposure and development device. However, in the large-size transfer, necessary to further improve the accuracy, and can not be VA, IPS technology applications.
Ink-jet printing method
Ink-jet printing method is the most mature of several new process method, developed by the Dai Nippon Printing. The technology BM first patterned on a glass substrate, the R, G, B three color resist aside separate space, and then by the inkjet print head, the color photoresist spray paint to the desired position, the final curing molding. 256x64 oled
The method is simple, photoresist is almost 100% efficiency, but need BM prepared by conventional methods, and higher on the ink.
